Bringing together people who care for, or share their lives with, someone with Parkinson’s
People say that however good the support received from friends/family and medical professionals, it is helpful to spend some time with others who understand what it’s like to live with Parkinson’s.
These informal monthly meetings over coffee, tea or lunch are for anyone who cares for or just shares their lives with someone with Parkinson’s.
Basis of Care & Share network:
- Monthly meetings at varying venues, times of day, week and month, as announced here and in our newsletter
- Fellowship, mutual support, encouragement
- Chance to share tips and experiences
- Make new friends
- People with Parkinson’s and self-carers welcome
- Occasional special guests.
We are open for everyone
You don’t have to be a member of Parkinson’s UK to come to our Care and Share meetings – anyone in our area affected by Parkinson’s is welcome.
