Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme – you can help!

Please use your token for shopping in Tesco to vote for our project in the Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme throughout July and August. Visit Tesco Superstore or Express in Amersham, and Tesco Express in Little Chalfont and request a token with any purchase. Then pop it in the Parkinson’s UK Amersham and High Wycombe branch box by the door.

Penn Street Craft Fayre

There were reindeer, cushions, bags, wreaths, angels, Christmas cards and decorations amongst the myriad items for sale at a Craft Fayre at Penn Street Village Hall on 17 November 2017. 

Over the last few months, Terry Stevenson and her trusty elves, Rosemary Wilkinson, Jackie Connors, Chris Wells, Sandy Hale, Sue Wilkie, Gloria Balkewill and Cathi Grainger had been busy creating all the hand-made items. They raised a staggering £1,477 which will be donated to research into new therapies and a cure for Parkinson’s. Wycombe Sinfonia – Playing for Parkinson’s

Wycombe Sinfonia

Since Wycombe Sinfonia introduced its Playing for Parkinson’s Scheme in 2015, the orchestra has donated £232 to our branch of Parkinson’s UK.

MG owners club supports us again

MG line-upIn one of their main events of the year on Sunday 21 August at The Polecat, Prestwood, the Wycombe Area MG Owners Club (WAMGOC) will again be supporting our branch.  The pub will be the start point for the Club’s Octagonal run, which is a 60 mile trip through beautiful Buckinghamshire, with a lunchtime visit to the National Trust property of Claydon House.
