We are incredibly grateful for a donation of £725 from the Fat Quarters Patchwork and Quilting group, based in Great Missenden. They raised the money with the group’s first Charity Quilt Raffle and the proceeds of an exhibition of their work held in Great Missenden last October.

Cathi Grainger, who chairs the group, said “The Charity Quilt, which was single-bed size, on its own raised over £900. This was pieced and quilted by the members. At the Exhibition there was a Bag Raffle and Sales Table which were both very popular with the 300+ visitors we had over the weekend.”

Fat Quarters members nominated three charities to receive donations and, as well as our branch of Parkinson’s UK, Rennie Groves Hospice Care and the Alzheimers Association also received donations.
