Exercise with the benefit of buoyancy and water resistance in a purpose-built pool with lovely warm water.
We have a new hydrotherapy course of six weekly classes starting on Thursday 1 June 2017 at 2.30pm at the Chilterns MS Centre in Wendover (map). We will run a separate ladies-only session on the same afternoon provided a minimum of five ladies apply.
Feedback from previous participants includes:
“I have enjoyed it very much … it has certainly loosened up my legs and arm muscles”
“It has helped strengthen muscles and coordination”
“The most enjoyable way to help my walking and my balance”
“It has got me back in the water. It has been good fun”
“Good tuition. Warm Pool. Good company. Fun.”
“Give it a go – you’ll be surprised how good it is.”
No swimming experience required. You don’t need to be able to swim because you will be standing/walking and exercising using the resistance of the water whilst making the most of natural buoyancy for support.
The full list of course dates (all Thursdays) are:
June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Additional courses coming soon.
