Our dance group leader, Lesley Shaw, has been invited to the Advanced Dance for Parkinson’s course at Leicester’s De Montfort University in July. The course will be led by David Levanthal, visiting from New York, who started Dance for Parkinson’s in the USA and which has since become a world-wide movement.
Lesley says “I am so excited to be part of the Dance for Parkinson’s movement and to be learning from David Levanthal whose teaching is inspirational”
This follows on from the introductory Dance for Parkinson’s course Lesley attended last year.
Lesley is a Professional Individual Member of People Dancing.
