Mama Mia Musical With Lunch

By Dorothy Salathiel

Join us for lunch followed by Mamma Mia the Musical live!
Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury
Thursday 28 June 2018
12.30 – approx 5.15pm

For people with Parkinson’s and a companion such as a family member, carer or friend. You don’t have to be a member of our branch to come.

If you want to go, please contact Dorothy Salathiel by 22 May 2018 at the latest (see below for contact details).

Theatre seats

We have reserved 46 seats in the front two rows of the upper circle and places for two wheelchair users and their companions in the stalls (making 50 places in all).

Your theatre tickets will be available to collect at lunchtime on the day.

Our buffet lunch will start at 12.30pm in a private dining area at the theatre and includes a selection of sandwiches, finger foods, cakes and fruit followed by tea/coffee. Please let us know on the reply slip if you have any special dietary requirements.

The theatre is modern and accessible. A lift will take us to the first-floor private dining area. After lunch the same lift will take us to the top floor to access the upper circle seats. After exiting the lift there will be 8 steps down and one or two steps up to our seats.
For wheelchair users and their companions in the stalls, a lift will take you down from the private dining area to the foyer from where you can access the stalls.

The show starts at 2.30pm, so we should have plenty of time after lunch to transfer from the dining area to our seats using the lift or stairs.

There are accessible toilet facilities located at each of the principal seating levels.

There is a nearby multi-storey car park next to Waitrose with lifts down to the ground floor. The top floor is designated for theatre parking. Do not use the bottom and middle floors (except Blue Badge holders – see below) because they are short-term, max 2 hours, no return within 1 hour, for Waitrose shoppers.
Parking on the top floor is “pay and display” and costs £8 for 5 or more hours (not included in your contribution to the cost).

Free parking without time limit for Blue Badge holders on all floors, including regular marked bays if no disabled bays are available.
After exiting the car park lift, there is a short level walk to the theatre along a paved path.

Please allow plenty of time to park and transfer to the theatre for 12.30pm.

We ask for a non-refundable contribution of £17 per person towards the overall cost of lunch and the show.
