Peter the Pilgrim has reached Santander to complete stage 3 of his epic 1,500 mile walk to Spain to raise funds for Parkinson’s. Ninety percent of the funds will be used to find a cure for the condition and ten percent for respite care.
Following a break in the UK during the hottest part of the summer in Spain, Peter will commence stage four on 7 September starting from where he finished stage three and will walk the final 300 miles or so of his pilgrimage along the north coast of Spain to his final destination of Santiago de Compostela.
Donations to Peter’s fundraising have so far achieved over £35,000 of his targeted £250,000 for Parkinson’s UK. Read about how the funds raised will be used.
