Around 50 people enjoyed an afternoon of singing and dance on 18 March at our open workshops to showcase two of the branch’s activities. Although they didn’t have to, everyone joined in both sessions which made it a really inclusive occasion. For the first time in public, the singing group performed two songs at the end. Everyone seemed to have much bigger smiles when leaving than when they arrived!
Our Tuesday morning singing and Thursday morning dance groups for people affected by Parkinson’s, including spouses, friends and carers are very popular. Read more about them using the links below.
Extra special thanks go to both Jo Edworthy, our singing teacher, and Lesley Shaw, who leads our dance sessions. They both put an enormous amount of time and effort into organising and running the workshops on the day, with much enthusiasm and a great sense of fun.
