Successful counter attack at Hazlemere fete

A game for the numerate, ‘counter attack’ proved to be a popular attraction on our stand at the Hazlemere fete on summer bank holiday (31st August).

Counter attack players had one minute to place counters over numbers in sequence on a grid. Callum and Rebecca Lafferty both reached the highest score for the day of 44 and shared the £10 prize … so neither could claim bragging rights over the other!

Our highly popular tombola was also a great success and sold out.

We raised £66 on the day for Parkinson’s support and research.

Our thanks go to Sue Keir and Cathi Grainger who organised and ran the stand with support from Janet and John Smith, Dorothy Salathiel, Joy and David Kay, Duncan Keir, John Grainger and Margaret and Trevor Owen.
