Thank you everyone who voted for Parkinson’s in the first round of the Mountain Warehouse Charity Challenge 2016. Your votes put Peter the Pilgrim’s challenge through to the shortlist of ten to win £10,000 for Parkinson’s UK.

First round votes have been zeroed and voting has started for the second round.  PLEASE VOTE AGAIN EVEN IF YOU VOTED IN THE FIRST ROUND.

The winner will be decided by public vote and yours could be crucial. CLICK HERE TO VOTE NOW. Scroll to the bottom of the Mountain Warehouse page to find the ‘vote’ button and don’t forget to click on the verification email they send you or your vote won’t be counted (check your email spam box if you don’t see it in your inbox within 10 minutes). Voting reportedly closes at 5pm on Sunday, 25 September 2016, but they closed the first round voting a day early so don’t delay.

This is also really important – please help spread the word about the vote – email all your family, friends and work colleagues and use the social media icons at the foot of this report to tweet, post, pin or link.

Former branch Treasurer, Peter Charles, is walking 1,500 miles in a pilgrimage from Little Missenden, Bucks to Santiago de Compostela, Spain to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. A tough challenge for anyone … but, incredibly, Peter is 70 and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s seven years ago.

So, let’s give his fund a massive boost by helping him to win the Mountain Warehouse Charity Challenge 2016.
