Buckinghamshire Disability Services (BuDS) is an independent charity which speaks up for the interests of disabled people in Buckinghamshire. We focus on removing barriers and finding answers. Primarily run by disabled people for disabled people, we use our combined experience, specialist knowledge and a collaborative approach to make change happen.
Carers Bucks is a charity that works in partnership with family Carers to support them in their caring role by providing information, advice and advocacy.
We are an independent charity and part of the Carers Trust network – Britain’s leading provider of information, advice and practical support to carers across the UK. We support carers and the people they care for by delivering high quality personal care services to people of all ages, and with a range of disabilities and health conditions.
The CETAL* Living Lab at the University Campus, Aylesbury Vale comprises a fully furnished flat equipped with the latest telehealth technology. It’s used as a test bed for new products and services in telehealth / telemedicine and as a demonstration setting for members of the general public who act as carers, who may wish to use these technologies to help those with long term conditions maintain their independence. Free of charge demo sessions are available to small groups who wish to see the facilities and technologies in action.

Enrych helps people identify what would make a real difference in their lives (especially through leisure and learning opportunities) and then we find ways to help make it happen. This might be a volunteer partnership, an activity group, Enrych social events or through one-to-one support.
The Grove in Bournemouth is a unique hotel offering a beautiful holiday retreat for cancer patients and those with life limiting illnesses. Carers, families and friends are all welcome. They say that it is used by many guests with Parkinson’s.
Non-profit making, The Grove is owned by Macmillan Caring Locally, a registered charity based in Christchurch Dorset.
Buckinghamshire County Council’s Home Library Service will deliver books, DVDs, CD’s and books on tapes free of charge to people who are housebound because of poor mobility or ill health, or because they are carers.
Set in the beautiful East Lothian countryside, there’s nowhere quite like Leuchie House.
We specialise in offering caring respite breaks for people with long term neurological conditions. Included in every Leuchie break is personalised 24 hour care, specialist physiotherapy sessions, a programme of fun activities, outings and entertainment, and delicious home-made food. In addition, because Leuchie House is an 18th century mansion, we are able to offer our guests a special country house hotel ambiance.
Safe+Well™ is a service run by NRS Healthcare and supported by Buckinghamshire County Council and the NHS.

Revitalise is a national charity providing respite care in a holiday setting for disabled people and carers for over 50 years.
We currently run three accessible holiday centres in Chigwell in Essex, Southampton and Southport.
Voices and Choices is a Registered Charity and Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. It has been set up to provide information and advice to help people to remain in their homes with the help and support of community services and other agencies. It will also provide reassurance to family carers living outside Buckinghamshire.
