Young / Working Age

A working age mum

Young onset or working age Parkinson’s?

We have a separate group in our area for working age people with the condition, set up by Sarah Wiltshire, who has young onset Parkinson’s.

Sarah says, “Parkinson’s affects people in many different ways and those of us with the condition, who are still working, may well have different issues to older, retired people.  With that in mind the aim of the group is twofold:

  1. a source of information and advice for working age people with Parkinson’s
  2. a social and networking forum.

Once the group is established and we have a few keen members, I will look to arrange an inaugural social gathering.

If you would like to get in touch, you can contact me directly or you can message me via Facebook.”

The working age group is for people with Parkinson’s, their family and friends in the Amersham, Wycombe and surrounding areas. You don’t have to be a member of Parkinson’s UK.

Facebook users can go to the Amersham and High Wycombe Working Age Parkinson’s Group  for more information and to join the group.

Not a Facebook user? Take a look at what’s going on in the group in the feed below. Email Sarah Wiltshire for more information and to join the group.
