Monthly Café Meetings

We have four Parkinson’s cafes that each meet monthly in Amersham, Marlow,  Beaconsfield and High Wycombe.

They are very informal and are for everyone affected by Parkinson’s — including spouses, partners, family members and carers:

  • all café meetings attended by a Branch volunteer
  • drop-in — no need to book or let us know you’re coming
  • mutual support and encouragement
  • chance to share tips and experiences
  • make new friends
  • occasional special guests

Spouses, partners and other family carers often say they would like to spend time with other carers to share their experiences and hints and tips. So we can arrange a “carers corner” for 30 minutes or so during each meeting for everyone who wants to participate.

“However good the support received from friends, family and medical professionals, it is helpful to spend some time with others who understand what it’s like to live with Parkinson’s”

King’s Roast Coffee House, Amersham

Atrium Cafe, Hazlemere

We are open for everyone

You don’t have to be a member of Parkinson’s UK to come to our Parkinson’s cafés – everyone affected by Parkinson’s is welcome.
